Surface Preparation

All surfaces should be clean, sound and free from contaminants and grease. Can be applied to damp surfaces but ensure the surfaces are not saturated. Scrape and brush the surface to remove any loose flaking material. Flat down glossy surfaces with abrasive paper. Treat any mould or lichen with a proprietory mould remover with a scraper or a stiff brush then treat again. Remove sources of damp and repair structural problems prior to application (See Remarks section)

Application Conditions

As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

Subsequent Coat

Suitable topcoat or wall covering.

Remarks

Ensure all sources of damp are repaired prior to treatment, this includes structural, plumbing faults and rising damp.
