Levante Vinato

This gorgeous Levante Anemone features fully double blooms in a rich wine color, often producing 10 to 20 petals per bloom. It thrives in partial to full sun, growing to a height of 16” to 24”. The bold coloring and unique petal density make this flower a prized pick for bouquet florists.

Levante Vinato is sold in packs of 10. 

Planting Instructions: 

Plant in fall for Zones 7–9 and in spring after the last frost for Zones 4–6. Growers in zones 4-6 will need to dig and dry corms yearly and replant in the spring. They can be stored in a cool dry place over winter in a garage or basement.

1. Soak Corms in room-temperature water for 4–6 hours before planting.

2. Choose a full-sun to part-shade location and well-drained soil. Amend with compost if needed.

3. Plant corms 2–3" deep and space 3–6" apart. 

4. Water after planting and keep the soil moist but not soggy using a low-nitrogen fertilizer when shoots and buds appear.
